Edmond has over 30 years of international clinical practice in clinical trials, surgery, primary care, aged care, sports, exercise, occupational, military, musculoskeletal, skin, regenerative, aesthetics, and wellness medicine.

He has a specialist surgical fellowship (UK), a postgraduate general practice fellowship (Australia), and a post graduate certification in aesthetic medicine (USA). Edmond was also trained in sports and military medicine (SAF & RSAF). Edmond is a certified occupational physician for AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority), and soon NTC (National Transport Commission) and OGUK (Oil & Gas UK). 

Edmond is a certified practice manager, biotech, healthtech, infotech, healthcare management & education consultant and a certified assessor to accredit general practices, and soon hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

Edmond was a strategy advisor to Singapore's largest healthcare conglomerate. Edmond has management experience in corporate, industrial & travel medicine with major local clients like BHP, Alcoa, Qantas, Ford, Cleanaway & Honeywell. International  corporate clients included Citigroup, UBS, Bank of America, Sumitomo Bank, Siemens, Seagate, Port of Singapore Authority, Keppel Shipyard, Singapore Airlines, Changi Airport and ST Aerospace.

In Singapore, Edmond was an Adjunct Lecturer for the Masters of Science (Project Management) in National University of Singapore. The MSc(PM) program was established in 1986, making it one of the oldest project management programs in the world. It aims to provide professionals with the sound management skills and techniques necessary for the successful completion of complex projects in different industries. Participants from overseas feature strongly on all intakes and the wide mix of expertise allows for meaningful exchange and interaction at graduate level.

In Australia Edmond is a certified practice manager (AAPM Australian Association of Practice Management), healthcare management & education consultant (PHConsultants, SEED Consulting, HealthCert Education and Institute of Medical Education) and a surveyor to accredit general practices in Australia and to provide accreditation assistance to local general practices. Edmond was a General Practice Accreditation Surveyor with General Practice Accreditation. Edmond is now with Global-Mark and ACHS Accreditation for General Practice as a General Practice Accreditation Assessor for Australia. ACHS plans to also deploy Edmond as a Hospital & Healthcare Accreditation Assessor for ANZ and overseas. As SEEDD Consulting, Edmond provides practice accreditation, website and social media marketing, recruitment, practice and business management services to SDOs (Service Delivery Organizations), for e.g. Ross Court Medical Suites. Edmond was Clinical Services Consultant to Ryman Healthcare's Raelene Boyle Retirement Village in Aberfeldie, Melbourne.

Edmond is also techno evangelist and advocate for international healthcare markets. In this Edmond helps to create a human connection with buyers and consumers to technology, way beyond typical content marketing means because there's a face and a name relaying the story, expressing the opinion, and ultimately influencing a decision. Edmond was a Captain (Medical Corps) in the Singapore Armed Forces Military Medicine Institute (MMI) where he helped managed the MMI which is a leading multi-speciality military and sports medicine centre in East Asia. Edmond participated in materials science, biomechanics, metabolic and human performance research.

In Boston, USA, Edmond was Solution Architect to help deliver Harvard Medical/MIT/Massachusetts General Hospital’s international Research & Data Portal. Following this, Edmond was offered the position of Program Manager with the very prestigious CIMIT (Consortia for Improving Medicine with Innovation and Technology) in Boston, USA. CIMIT is a network of world-class academic and medical institutions partnering with industry and government. CIMIT's mission is to foster collaboration among clinicians, technologists, and entrepreneurs to accelerate innovation and catalyze the discovery, development, and implementation of innovative healthcare technologies.

Edmond is Clinical Advisor & Trainer to Simplr Health and Simplr BioTech. Simplr BioTech supports IBH (of Bridge Impact Capital) in COVID technologies with GenScript. Simplr BioTech also has a number of regenerative medicine projects in the pipeline​.SImplr BioTech solves health problems with new science & technology with the vision to deliver innovative and holistic solutions to societal health problems via the customisation and integration of existing and new science and technologies, addressing at scale life science and healthcare problems worth solving. He provides operational expertise from your ownership of site feasibility, management of site performance to plans, and facilitates professional networking with positive mutually beneficial outcomes. 

Edmond is Aesthetics Business Consulant to Skincare Journeys, a boutique consulting firm specialising in bespoke end-to-end services, solutions and mentorship in the aesthetics skin care industry. Skincare Journeys is also the distributor for Sciton Business Solutions (Victoria, South Australia & Tasmania). Sciton provides advanced lasers and light sources to the aesthetic medical markets. Currently Edmond is helping various laser and light device innovators like Sciton develop and deliver end user product training, clinical curriculum, coaching and certification.​

Edmond has a Masters of Science in Management Information Systems (High Honours, Boston Uni, USA) and leverages his expertise and experience (in informatics, digital transformation & digital disruption) to play lead roles in delivering innovative digital platforms in and outside medicine for global industry leaders like IBM and Razorfish.

In response to the COVID19 pandemic, Edmond consulted to a global cloud based vaccine management solution (VMS) provider that is partnered with a global CRM SaaS (software as a service) platform. In this Edmond participated in solution design and validation as well as marketing and market development. Vaccine Management software enables healthcare providers to facilitate all aspects of the immunization process, including appointment scheduling, medical inventory tracking, vaccine outcome monitoring, symptom follow-ups, and more.

Edmond helped IBM Global Business Services deliver Lian Hua Hypermarket's Strategic Outsourcing ICT Strategy, a USD $200 million program in supply chain ERP in Shanghai, China. Edmond was Senior Strategist and Solution Architect in designing this Walmart-like real-time end to end JIT ERP Supply Chain platform, the first ever in China. There were islands of data scattered all over the entire enterprise, everywhere in Shanghai there was a store, with only snippets flowing back into head office to manage the supply chain. The customed-built platform help strengthened their resilience by seeing across the entire supply chain to resolve supply and demand issues and re-plan production and distribution in real-time.

In Frankfurt, Germany, Edmond was Solution Architect to help Razorfish deliver the Proof of Concept for Deutsche Bank XML-based db-eEscrow service for buyers and sellers as a secure and efficient way of executing high-value online transactions. The service is accessed directly from the GoIndustry platform without the user having to leave the exchange web site. The db-eEscrow eliminates the risk of non-payment for the seller and ensures delivery of goods for the buyer. In Boston, USA, Edmond was Principal Consultant and Senior  Software Developer to help Razorfish deliver State Street Global Securities Thomson & Reuters real time stock market data feeds pricing Data Quality Management System.

In Las Vegas, USA, Edmond was Solution Architect to help NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone) DoCoMo i-mode wireless Internet service deliver mobile WAP services in Japan. i-mode then had over 30 million subscribers which was 60% share of Japan's mobile Internet market, making it then the most successful mobile data service in the world.

HOBBIES

Edmond enjoys caring for our local multicultural community. In addition to English, he also speaks some Mandarin, Cantonese & Hokkien and plans to learn Spanish, Italian and French. He is all thumbs at gardening, loves tree branch arts and crafts, adores spicy foods and collects antique original condition furniture. Edmond hopes to one day find time to rest​ore a Ducati Scrambler or perhaps an old Indian motorcycle.
